Any chance of opening the game up somewhat?

Allow the community to help provide the tweaks and tuning that will make it more enjoyable for more people?

For me, being generally time-poor, I don't really have the patience to play the inventory management mini-game in RPGs, and appreciate the ability to play the story and ignore the hoarding/lugging/buying/selling/looting.

My first thought after an hour or so with this game is "damn, I wish I could mod this and tweak a few things".
