Que the PR drone white knight players to come and now absolve the game of needing to have any quality or standards by stating the same "eArLy AcCeSs" falsehood that has long since run dry as being an excuse.
Whatever gives them a sense of place and meaning I suppose.
So to be honest, Idk what late game is like but I do know the glide mechanic wasnt getting old at all. The gameplay was pretty for me. a typical RPG grind which most people dont like. But in VR it kept it entertaining. So idk, i do remeber wishing for a more exciting story in the world but didnt mind it because the game does look really good.
Those are my thoughts, but I havent gotten late game so idk.,.
Edit: also I they are taking way longer on the class than I thought they would. Which is why I am probably out of touch with the game. I remeber thinking it looked like they were allready close to finishing the character. Ig not tho
the first major content update is planned for end of june, which will bring instanced dungeons among other things
If the game is in the same state 6 months from now with zero improvements or anything added then you might have valid complaints
That being said if you have a few friends willing to play with you it's not hard to get your moneys worth out of the game. Flying around itself is very entertaining especially when you start playing with the more advanced flight modes.
It took them literally months to even address the server list issues...literally months to sort out...sorting a list of text...I really can't stress how simple something like that actually is from a development standpoint, it could have been patched in within the first week by someone still working out how to code...yet us players had to deal with their joke of a server list jumping around like a cr@ckhead, yeah its a small detail, but again, a small detail that took over a month to even be addressed, not even fixed, and this is after all the hype and promises of working hard to make the best game they could, apparently that just excludes fixing simple bugs and adding ridiculously simple quality of life updates in even a remotely timely manor.
I still have some hope for the game, but i loose a little bit every single month that goes past with nothing special being done, have they even bothered to address the fact that half the treasure chests in the game are sunk into terrain? because they hadn't last time i played, and that was well over 2 months after release.
Most of the people complaining are the same types who finished Elden Ring in two weeks and complained about its content.
The game isnt that bad and I have a lot of content to uncover still. I played quite a bit and made multiple youtube videos on the game. Is it perfect? no, but worth $20 ish dollars? ♥♥♥♥ yes it is.
By the time you reach level ~36, I guarantee it isn't going to be fun at all anymore. Honestly, you'd have more fun killing enemies in something like Blade and Sorcery or Legendary Tales.
When there are no good innovations to vr combat, there really is no point in playing Zenith.
