I'm gonna be honest. While I was really into it at first, that initial wow factor eventually went "poof." I kinda forgot the game exist tbh and only just now noticed it in my library and decided to check on it. It's cool, but needs a lot of work.

The game isn't just on Steam. It's on PSVR and Oculus as well. In fact, the majority of the playerbase is playing on Oculus. It's one of the platforms most played games.

Huh? Servers almost always read full-medium. I run into people all the time.

I just logged out, before i logged in there were 3-4 full servers, and several high population.... they must be looking at steam only lol. :laughzombie:

212 players
24-hour peak
This game has a lot of potential, but it needs so much more content. I get they are working on it, but gamers' are a fickle crowd and will move on when there is nothing left to do.

If you require I can boot up the quest 2 and show what the stats are for this game...600 total players over all console releases for a game that's less than a month old is pathetic.

Who the only person in here who left a critical opinion? The first comment? I don't know them but that seems a bit off fro a troll. It seems they honestly just didn't feel much investment in the game. I'm steam level 65, and the person who started the thread with a leading question is steam level 149. I fail to see your point.

I mean this might be due to your account being private, but hovering over your icon shows Steam Level 0. So they're probably talking about you. As to whether you qualify as a troll I won't comment on but you definitely seem hell bent on spinning everything about this game as negative. And I don't really get how you're getting the number "600" across all platforms? L

There is no way you can know what the actual player count is. SteamCharts only accounts for steam gamers and excludes Quest mobileVR which will be the overwhelming majority, followed by oculus PCVR launcher people and PSVR people. There's no place that accounts for total player population to base a statement like this on.

However I will say... i will likely hit 100hrs into this game this weekend and then I think i'm done with it until there's more content. I'm getting bored. Tired of just sitting around waiting for invasion events to spawn so i can get a currency to buy gear with and all the defend ones are bugged and fail like 99% of the time and the boss fight is usually glitched as well. I'm just kind of at the point where it's time to check out other stuff until this game gets a good patch or two and more end-game content.

I kind of suspect that the similar thing is happening with Zenith as happens with After the Fall. The patch has to push to two consoles with long approval processes before it goes out. Instead of pushing it to PC people to essentially beta test it before it goes to console. So it makes fixing stuff on PC take too long for established PC gaming norms. Same thing is happening on ATF.

Basically the same deal with why I stopped playing. I didn't find anything to really hold me so I'll come back in the future when there's more content. I got my money's worth so I'm not really complaining.

I mean I literally own a Quest 2. The store page doesn't list numbers, unless you're counting the number of reviews or something? And steam is the only service (that I know of) that has a player count tracker. So no real facts here, at least from you. Plus you also seem to be under the impression that Team Ramen just wanted to hype it up to sell a bunch of copies and that they "made their money" but also "massively undersold." So you should probably stick to a narrative. I mean the game isn't for everybody and as other people in this thread have mentioned it isn't going to necessarily hold everyone's attention either but seems to be holding enough for now. They will need to keep the updates coming though

I'm still hopeful that the game will get content down the road. But right now it's in a lackluster state. Too many critical features not yet added and a lack of polish on what's there now.

I think if they would've advertised it as more of a early release for an Alpha build it would be more justifiable. But they pretty much made it seem like the full game was released.
