Seem to be crashing a lot on this last patch
Today I am crashing every 5-10 minutes for some reason, I wasn't doing that before today's patch, not sure if it's related, but I played Skull and Bones for 5 straight hours this morning with no crashes and I haven't installed / updated drivers today. Other than updating Primeval that is...

I'll try to play again and see if it continues (4th time opening the game now and crashing after a few minutes).

EDIT* Yup, crashed again, much faster this time... Let me try a new dinosaur and see ... I think mine may be bugged due to putting too much stuff into my nest. If I build a nest it will immediately crash, I don't want to delete my entire nest to lose everything, but I might have to again...

Nest are bugged because once certain stats hit a high % it will immediately crash the game. Hatching eggs stat / Creating Egg Stat / nest radius stat = If you create or hatch eggs below 1 minute time limit it will immediately crash the game. Not sure about other stats yet...

I don't think its related to the patch, I played the patch for a couple hours today and didn't crash any.

Maybe its related to the nest glitches you're experiencing.

What % are those stats hitting that's getting them to crash?

Yes, I started a T-Rex and it was fine. It's my Adult Sarco. Probably the nest issues, because it crashed when I had a egg in the nest hatching. So, if I even press "B" to build a nest on it then it will immediately crash.

I guess I have to delete the nest, but a warning a lot of others might experience this too when they gather too much and put it into the nest. The stats get too high and crash the game. My Anky did this same thing and I had to delete the nest for the Anky's and lose all that I gathered.

Save that file somewhere else so you can restore it after I fix it.

There has to be a cap (limit) for certain stats for sure. Like, we should never be allowed to get less than 1 minute spawn egg or hatch egg time. The range of the nest has to cap at a reasonable limit (100 - 200 meters?). Not sure if others break it yet or not, I'll have to do some more testing and see if I can gather / use the other stats to a certain limit.

Also, if our babies cannot eat, sleep, attack, etc then what is the point of having a nest and collecting? I mean, I wish that I would have taken a screenshot before this broke to show you the stats on the babies that I was hatching. 500%+ on damage / speed / health / stamina / health and stamina regens.... I had 49 baby sacro's everywhere doing nothing. I could have had more but stopped putting the eggs in and then once I gathered more (my nest was about 50 yards from one I could farm over and over) then it broke when I put it inside the nest from the hoard.

Oh and if you asked how without cheating? Easy, just play the same dinosaur over and over, which I did the Sarco. I played it every time you patched it and just kept adding all the items from tasks / searching every nest that I seen and then I added it all on this last patch. I had 100+ of certain items. You save the same nest / hoard items on each dinosaur, so if you just keep lvling / playing the same one over and over, it adds up FAST!

The babies used to grow as they ate, and then you could form a pack with them. That functionality was lost when I changed the core workings of AI creatures, and I'm building it back over time.
