Demo crashes constantly!
Hey, before I wanted to buy the game, I wanted to play the demo first. But it always crashes after a few minutes. From what I could see, I'm interested in the game. Is that just the demo or is it just as bad with the full version?

This game will crash any system immediately over and over unless you make some changes on your machine.

Read this posted by me and see if it helps:

I have 64gb of Ram and it will crash mine, but it's not the Ram, it's the GPU usage. I have a Geforce 4070 ti and it stays at 99% on this game and it will crash it, even with all these changes it still crashes at times, but far less than without making these changes. If I don't adjust my settings like this for this game, then I cannot play it as it crashes constantly. Now it may crash every other start up and then once I immediately re-open the game it will run for hours just fine.

I can imagine that everyone will have problems no matter what system you have as I don't have a low end rig. I cannot imagine anyone with a low-end through med rig to play this game at all. Maybe I am wrong, perhaps it only eats up what you have no matter if it's low-med or high end?

I have another PC (the one I used before upgrading to this new one) and I might try this game on it to see if it performs better / worse and let everyone know. Maybe it only has problems with high-end Rigs and not low-med rigs.

EDIT* I also play a ton of other games from low indie games to top of the line triple AAA games and have zero issues other than PoE2 (everyone has problems).
1) Skull and Bones
2) Red Dead Redemption 2
3) Diablo 4
4) Path of Exile 2 (Had problems with this one too)
5) F1 23 (normal and VR)
6) Patheon (just bought this one, no issues)
7) Empires of the Undergrowth
8) Bellwright
9) Sifu
10) Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 and 2
11) Dragon Age The Veilguard
12) D&D online
13) Path of Titans
14) A TON of misc indie games
etc...

PoE2 had problems on early access launch, other than that I have no issues with any other game.

What's really strange is that I also have a high-end system, and it never crashes for me when I run the game from Steam. I never had to edit any nVidia settings either.

Are you clicking "Play" from the steam library menu?

Cause, I was using a shortcut on desktop, perhaps that is the problem? I will try to test that...

Yeah I always press Play from the Steam library menu.
