Instability issues faced with HP Reverb G2
Hi All,

I am facing instability and performance issues with MOH and my recently acquired HP Reverb G2. The game does not start or hangs from time to time.
My SPECs are: Dell Aurora R9 with 2x NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER configured with SLI enabled, with Intel i9-9900KS CPU and 64GB RAM.

Any advice?

Thanks!

what is happening is that from time to time, the game enters into PAUSING mode

Now reverting back to older NVIDIA drivers 456.55 through a clean install. Lets see if it does improve the stability.

I have a G2, but I have different PC specs. I am running i7-10700k 32gb ram, and RTX 3090. Mine works fine. You might disable SLI, HDR, GSync, and any other new tech that you have running to see if it fixes it.

Hello thesnowman2006
Thx for your help and answer, how did you disable SLI, HDR an GSync ?
SLI it's not for dual graphics cards ?

I did disable SLI and GSync through NVIDIA app, then disabled as well HDR from Windows 10 Display Settings, but I am unfortunately still experiencing instability issues where the game enters PAUSING from time to time. Any additional hints?

Doesn't work for me either on the G2 with a 3080 and a x570 chipset.

When I played through the single player campaign with the G2 controllers I was constantly accidentally pressing the Windows button or the menu button which pauses the game. Could that be your issue too?

In the MSFS forum there was a report that Nvidia identified the root cause of a VR performance/stuttering bug which may be fixed in the next driver release. You may want to try the previous 457.30 version instead.

Good advice. Will try previous drivers or wait for the new ones.

Hey guys, not sure maybe this will help. Do you have any achievements / messages that pop up as your playing? I noticed when playing on oculus bought game, when achievements or something pop up from oculus level, graphics in game get weird and sometimes game runs real slow after, locks up. I disabled oculus home, so nothing tries to pop up on top of the game as I'm playing. Somethign with this game does NOT like that happenning. If you can disable / turn off anything driver related for your VR. Also try to launch steam vr first, and launch from within stream vr if your not launching like that.

For oculus, they have something called oculus homeless inside another utility, which fakes the system into thinking its running its home VR deal, which takes up a bunch of resources and pops up messages like this. That made things way better for me too.

it might be another controller that you have is interfering with your game. I have joysticks and pedals, and sometimes have to unplug them because they interfere with my games. I didn't have this issue on Medal of Honor, but something to try.

I have it for Steam, and do not have the issue with the achievements.
