For me it's a plus: since Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Soul was retired from Steam, there is nothing else even remotely inspired by that anime/manga (none that I know of, at least)
Saint Seiya is definitely one of our inspirations. In Mexico, many 90s animes (like Saint Seiya, and Sailor Moon) are celebrated by a lot of people, including myself, the art director, and the game director.
We really hope these references also connect with you guys :)
Probably cause it would be too obvious. Those all gold armor designs are so iconic that there's no way people wouldn't make the correlation.
Lol yeah they "connected" with me as soon as I saw them.
Nice that you finally admitted it. There were a handful of threads suggesting the [blatant] similarities yet none of them got any response from you.
Mariachi Legends is looking great (and much more like your own work) but I still wish you made the armor in 9 Years a bit less like SS.
