Looks interesting, but I have questions

Caught my eye because it looks kind of like Tokyo Xanadu, which is Falcom's take on the life sim/dungeon crawler. Mind, that one's a bit less bleak than this one(Most of the time, there's a few moments where it can get downright SAVAGE), but given it's a bit pricey at 30 instead of 20 or 25, I want to know things before I buy.

1) Is this a game with multiple difficulties, or is it the same game every time you play?

2) Is there New Game +?

3) Are the 'romance/friendships' with females only? The reviews I've seen haven't mentioned either way, and I'm curious.

4) Are there multiple endings? I don't need to know how many or what they are, just curious, yes or no?

Multiple difficulties. Expert is a HUGE step up on enemy timing, damage, and aggression, relying you to remember the patterns and exact moments of when to dodge and parry, by watching their movements. There is no "wait for the flash THEN press," it's "the flash is when you have to time your muscle memory."

Yes, New Game+. Confidant Ranks and Scavenged Items are reset but you keep everything else, even boosts and skills that are gained from later story characters.

There is one Male/Male romantic option.

Multiple Endings, dependent on whether or not you have a max rank confidant (level 7). I'm not sure if maxing Chani, your best friend, counts as a confidant that will not shuffle you into the good ending, but until there's a skip of fast forward for everything, I'm not replaying the game considering how abysmally slow it can get.
