Idk if there will be a sequel or not but if you like this (for the story, not the combat) you might like visual novels like the Fate/Stay Night series or Summer Pockets Refrain Blue.
As for the ending. Well....... I may be looking way to hard into it, but Ill try to keep my take short.
The QR video is a message from Lux yes. When it was recorded? I would argue it comes before the ending. Not only because of the train + night background. But the tacked on static message at the end that was for some reason excluded from the EN versions to me hint that it was recorded before. The tone between the initial part of the message is more wishful/hopeful, as if the future is not certain. While the static second bit is more confident and assuring.
I believe Lux is omniscient. She can see all possible futures, but ultimately wont know what will happen since which future comes to light is up to you as the player. I believe this due to what Lux says during the dream sequence when you first get your powers. On a first play through it sounds generic. "You will gain great powers, slay great foes, suffer terrible hardships". But on a second play through, how she says those lines sound less generic and more like shes hiding that she knows more. Lux also eludes to how the player must strengthen their bonds with the other characters, or bad things will happen. She is certain of it. (While I have not attempted this, given how the game has a "good" end, there must be a bad one. I assume the bad one is if you try the boss fight without having any of the characters up to at least a level 6 bond. So I theorize this is what Lux is eluding to.). Then Lux asks you who of the cast in most important to you, at least it sounded like Lux's voice to me. I believe Lux was the mastermind of your chosen character at being nabbed by Umbra. And I believe your chosen character was in on said plan. Why did said plan have to be done? Who knows. Lux herself says she is only using you to execute her will (depending on what dialogue choices you pick in the dream sequence after you break the first wall). During this time between you picking your most precious and then said precious getting nabbed is when I believe the QR videos are recorded. The timeline fits as the promises you make to each respective character are completed on their end, all that is left is to unveil it to you. However with the future still uncertain, this message can at least be left as a form of goodbye, and that they really did care about you. Given how we know phone/internet services were out, it makes sense as to why you did not get the video message until after the events of the game, as I am sure it took time to restore infrastructure. On to the static message at the end of the QR video. We already know Lux can interact with phones in some capacity, as that is how she initially communicates with you. So I would not be surprised if with the help of Lux, or even through their own willpower, the character that goes missing is able to tack on that extra bit at the end to confirm to you that there is hope, they WILL be back. Or they will die trying. They are just stuck on whatever plane Lux and Umbra exist on. And Lux knows this to, as she vaguely tells the MC to keep hoping, they will just have to wait as it is currently out of their hands. As for the post credits scene. When this takes place I am unsure. I dont agree with Xengre that it occurs right as you walk out of your apartment. As that would contradict the small epilogue snippets you get. I believe the amount of time is unspecified, but is meant to be interpreted as a while. Not long enough for people to age significantly, but short enough for the pain to still be there. I would argue 6 months to 2 years. But that is pure speculation on my part.
But in the end we will probably never know for certain until a sequel/continuation of the story is released.
