How to get achievements "That Solves That" and "Gone, Reduced to atoms."

Hi. I currently have problems unlocking the achievements "That Solves That" and "Gone, Reduced to atoms.".

For "Gone, Reduced to atoms.": I am not sure how to even tear SCP-999 in half.. I tried grabbing it and throwing it around for a long time but I cannot get it to tear somehow. Is there maybe another trick to it?

For "That Solves That": I understand that I need to make SCP-173 stand in a tesla gate while it goes off, however, even doing so does not get me the achievement and it also does not reveal the rebar visually for me. How can I get that one?

i got no idea how i got gone reduced to atoms. all i remember doing was touching 999 and it dissapeared, yelled, and gave me the achievement

Can you try if the disappearing works for you in the current version of the game? Not sure if I am doing something wrong but I grabbed it with right-click for a while while dragging it through the room several times. Left-click also did nothing to it.. so I am not sure what to do with 999.

If I recall correctly, it's been fixed for the next patch and is also on the breach-beta branch.

Hey i'm a little late on this, but how my friend got the "reduced to atoms" achievement on non-VR was getting scp-999 halfway stuck inside of a door then grabbed and pulled him. It's a bit of a janky way to do it but i hope it helps till the (possible) bug is fixed!

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried exactly that and it destroyed SCP-999, with him making some kind of noise. However, the achievement did not unlock for me :/ seems like the achievement trigger is broken currently even though you do the correct thing :(

My psychotic friend decided it was the smartest move (there were 3 of us, me included) to kill 999 on our first playthrough. The best way that he discovered in his ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up mind is ripping 999 in half by grabbing the eyes and pulling them apart.
