An English Dub Mod for VStars

a good friend of mine (Raffine52) is working on making an English Mod for not including the English VA's, so all of the Japanese Voice Clips will be stripped out and be replaced by Pre-Existing Voices from other games

Now, the voices of the CPUs will be taken from other "previous nep games". but how about the V-Idols? well, they will be taken from the "Trails of Cold Steel Series".

In the case of the DLC Characters, So far, Kizuna AI will use voices from the BlazBlue Series, which is her official voice actor.

Dang. I was thinking cutscenes (the most important part IMHO) would be voiced....

As much as I would love this it still wont fix the game being a glorified advert for the vtubers.

It saddens me IF screwed over miss.fahn and the over girls on this and the new senran game.

Nep not voiced by miss.fahn is just soulless

im confused as to why they didnt dub this game cause it mostly has only neptunia girls in it but i think they only dub the main series

With the amount of VTubers that are in the game, combined with dub license issues with the various companies (like Hololive, etc.), it proved to be too much $$$ for IFI.

Dub simps be so desperate that they'd ruin story to just have yet another impartial dub.

Actually, you know what? Yeah, be upset that there are no dubs, BECAUSE THAT'S HOW EVERY DUB in Compile Heart games works. Incomplete, jarring and worthless. When have we ever had a full dubbing of Neptunia?

No, that was in reference to dubbing the Nep characters while having the VTubers still speak Japanese. That is what would be jarring regardless of your language setting.

And it's not like JP audio is perfect either, when it comes to the localization.

Also, NepU. And PP (other than the songs and like 2 scenes that weren't voiced in JP either). Both of those were fully voiced.

You know full well that is equivalent. Its still jarring to not have any dubs at all or subs. Yeah, its inconsistent. But the point of contention, is that if you did partial dubs, nothing would be different how its ever been. The scenes where a lack of voices at all, are jarring no matter the situation.
