From EGS to Steam, new account?
You guessed it, I'm wondering if we have any information regarding our current (EGS) Spellbreak's account.
What's the plan? Have to download it again here to play on Steam? Can I just link my Spellbreak account and my progression will carry on?

Spellbreak currently uses an internal spellbreak account and the epic games account. You create a spellbreak account when you first start up the game and that account then gets linked to the epic games store. This system is for ensuring you can link your accounts cross platform and will undoubtedly scale to the steam platform.

TLDR: your progression will undoubtedly be saved and work cross platform.

NO, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

All I remember was that it was annoying it go from Steam to Epic during the beta, and doing it again, but in reverse sounds like hell.

GL though.

I think you can link the account to steam and keep your progress, you should probably link your steam account to epic just in case.

Yes, what khorne said. When you launch spellbreak on steam it will ask have you played before. You would select yea and log into the account your made on EGS or any other platform. This will carry your progression over.

Just for clarification, does playing here require an epic games account in any way?

No, you need to create a Spellbreak account when you start up the game when it gets released on the 15th (on steam), that Spellbreak account is for cross progression between all platforms.

So if you unlock an X outfit on steam you will also for example have it on your Switch, PS4 and Xbox (and EGS). Only the gold won't transfer if you buy some, not sure how earned gold works from leveling up.
