It's an entertaining little story with alright combat and lots to do. After you get used to the odd commands then you should be having fun with it.
mixed/mixed...ima go with no.
The game will also receive a content patch in march.
Also the "ending" needs a Diofield Cronicle 2 to say it in a spoiler free way.
The studio came up with a competent game that works fine, but EVERYTHING is kept to the bare minimum. You can count the different enemy models on one hand and they always make the same exact sound effects when attacking or dying. This becomes extremely annyoing fast.
The graphics are not "eye-pain inducing", but again very basic. Most rooms don't have any decorations in it, etc - again a sign of trying to make the most barebones function game you can.
The skill trees and weapon progression are equally simplistic. You level up, you choose from one of two available archetypes of the next higher tier of weapon, and that's it. The progression system is there but they didn't add anything to it than the bare minimum of choosing between two options, ever.
If it the game was released by some indie studio for 20-30 bucks it would have been a good game. If you're a person who likes to get stuff on sale, this should only be worth 10-15$ to you.
All in all I'd recommend getting Lost Eidolons instead. Game is more fleshed out than this one in every regard, and much cheaper. If you have enough money, get both.
