lot of engines support widescreen out of the box.
somehow almost every Japanese company don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about widescreen.
just FIY but even some games as old as 10 years old have engines that supports Widescreen, so in 2022, almost 2023, it's kind of expected that new game supports it.
Modders usually have ultrawide working under 24 hours of game launch. Must take the actual developers so much time and effort.
Modern game engines support it out of the box. It's not hard to include.
