I tried using a save editor to fix, but I guess the save data is too different in the new version. Save editor shows a floating point value with ".5" for the scientist's "minutes research" for the bugged one, whereas the other two are integers. However, NaN is a possible value for floats, so I don't see why this difference would cause a bug. I had a scientist experience potion relic... possibly related to the bug.
i experienced this as well but the only relics I have are some for caves blueprint price reductions and storage extensions. This bug can also break money putting it to NaN after reload 0 and im gonna say gem time if it happens but hasn't yet.
Edit: this can also happen with chest as well as other forms of mineral piles and things of that nature.
It looks like my scientist has a number for its level now, but it is still doing a blank quest. No duration or anything. I see the patch notes that you are still doing scientist debugging, so thank you for that.
