Best reactor configurations?

I am looking for the best reactor configurations for level 4 and 5 reactor

Also, I do not understand (bad translation to my language) what is the use of the copper/silver/platinium buffs, does anybody know?

The buffs increase the strength of batteries, fans and fuel rods.

The "Best" level 5 I can figure (not there yet) is :
9 fans
8 ducts +1 rod/bombardment
9 fans
1 copper buff 7 gold buff 1 copper buff
9 XL batteries
1 copper buff 7 gold buff 1 copper buff
9 XL batteries
1 copper buff 7 gold buff 1 copper buff
9 XL batteries

Should get you 13.375 million energy storage and 279.6 cooling. That should be enough to use all fuel rods and make all bombardments if you charge the batteries and use their energy to create the bombardments.

Level 4 depends on what you trying to do at the time.

yes

the 3 batteries on top can be exchanged for fuel rods or bombardments, allowing fexibility to make multiple low level bombardments at once, or using multiple low heat fuel rods at once

Why replace the batteries? Just place them in place of a duct. Bombardments & Rods act as ducts.

It all depends on your level and what you are trying to do. What level reactor are you?

I got reactor to level 4.

Well, except crafting fuel rods to use the drill speed potion in the lab, i do nothing else. The others choices in lab doesn't interest me atm.
And I take big extra large battery every time I can. I got 3.750.000 energy atm.

I had never though about buffs. I though that it would be interesting with reactor 5.
I realize that I probably should used buffs on my fuel roads to have more energy from each of them.

I'm kind of broke with isotopes, so I wonder the best way to go on with this reactor.
Hum, and I realize that the elemental pike buff from the lab can help me. I will take elemental pikes relics as well.

Well, it actually doesn't work on fuel rods. Doesn't give more energy with buff on it...
So it seems to be only fans and batteries.

Edit :
Oh I realize that it's not wrote on the "Total energy production" of the fuel road, but the Energy/Sec is actually higher than without buff. Well, interesting then.

Oh my god, it doesn't give anything more actually, it just gives the total energy production faster... What the point then ? Well...
