I've gathered the book of secrets... any idea of what it does?

Book of Secrets : Book of Secrets with the core sacrifice mechanics:

Activation of the core through 1 book of secrets - the core turns blue. Next, you need to throw a relic into the core and get its improved version. IMPORTANT! chance is not 100%, the relic may evaporate, but the core will remain active. The second option is Two Books of Secrets. After activating the kernel, we throw the second book of secrets and get the book of secrets+ Activation of the book of secrets + colors the core white Such a core produces a relic++ Activating two books of secrets+ will give a book of secrets++ (up to 50% relic transformation success)

When you sacrifice a Book of Secrets you corrupt the Core and the next sacrificed relic is Warped. When you sacrifice a Warped Book of Secrets you bless the Core and the next sacrificed relic is Divine.

Note: Core activation - 1 time. To reactivate, you need a new book of secrets.

Best things about Book of Secrets is when they show up in trades, after a week since the last one you have seen, for an impossible to attain amount of minerals or isotopes like 1T Uranium.

Throw it in the core and then throw a relic into the core and it will upgrade but idk if it can fail

It can fail. Even throwing in scientist can fail. You are supposed to throw in another book of secret to get super book. Then you throw this superbook to core to make it divine, which lets you upgrade relic to divine quality with 100% success.

Upgrading the book is 100%, upgrading a relic or scientist is not.

Divine core has 100% chance to turn relics to divine quality (or i was just realy lucky to get all 15 relics to divine without fail).
Warped core has 50% chance to give you warped quality.
So throwing relics to warped core is big waste. Warped core is only good for scientists, cuz there are no divine scientists (but scientists likes to die, so even warped scientists are imho wasting of books of secret).

Although there is a Quest for creating a warped scientist, although it just gives you a free gold chest. It depends on how badly you want to complete all of them.

You cant. I have maxed books of success and they still die somemtimes. But it doesnt matter im getting more scrolls from caves than i can spend.

you can't get %100 success for scientists but you can get %100 resurrection for them.. so.. they can be immortal in a sense :)

But it has 2 flaws - cost ALOT of relic slots and failed missions disappears without reward. So i will keep my 5 divine success books. Rarely fail mission and if i do, i can easily replace scientists.
