Things are now costing in the Trillions. By far the most value I am mining comes from Red Diamond. About 150/sec and it is worth a wopping $10K each. Sounds pretty good until I did the math... comes out to about $5.4 B/hour which is only $130B/day. Just upgrading the Oil Rig from L3 to L4 is going to take about two weeks. Granted actively opening Chests and killing monsters speeds this up, but... damn!

Hopefully something comes along soon which boosts this up... at 323km currently. Or is there some aspect of this game I have missed?

For me it seems that the mining income is almost irrelevant. i got the +5% mining artefact (10 of them) and at some point the TIME WARP was starting to loose with the MONEY chests. the big bucks are from monster kills. The lower you are the more money you will get from chests / monsters

Necro enemies is the best way to farm money at ~900km, they drop ~8-16 trillion money, meanwhile 1 golden chest gives only 0,23-1 trillion. And, for example, you'd need <1000 trillion money and 3000 oil> to upgrade some of your weapons to the highest level.

kill every monster, you need to kill even the low paying ones or they stop spawning new ones, I only collect chests maybe once or twice a day its just not worth all the clicking

Im at 280 km-ish depth.
Im waitingg to get the isotopes pe 3(?).
Getting like 2 per day, and i keep 100-ish something for one of the page 3 crafts.

I know this is an old thread, but when did the money per kill get nerfed? I'm at 1052km and only get approx 300bil per kill from the top monsters. Rest are 100-190bil per. Seeing people getting trillions before makes me understand why it's taking forever to get any money together for upgrades.

Money from monster probably has been rescaled to be more balanced with other sources of income. But it still scales decently well the further you dug.

If your priority if to get isotopes, focus on upgrading the miners as soon as you can rather than the drill. And never ever sell isotopes as long as you need them.
You can also stack as much Elemental PIke relics as you can as there is no bonus cap associated with that relic.

Chests/monsters can give up to 100 trillion for me.... next hire-center is 110 quadrillion.
