Despite being in Early Access, Samurai gunn 2 is one of the most polished, detail-packed games I've ever seen. Full of character, with amazing one-of-a-kind gameplay, and the most fun I've ever had playing against other people.
Adventure mode is a blast to get through alone or with friends, and the comic is beautiful and unique, and every panel has tons of detail and personality.
The gameplay is impeccable, full of nuances that are easy to understand, but hard to master, making it instantly playable to almost everyone, but packing a promising high skill-ceiling for players that want to get real good and compete online.
The game now is already a masterpiece, and one of the best games I've ever played, and the fact that it'll grow even more, with more characters, stages, chapters for the comic and a full 100+ levels of adventure mode, makes it an instant buy for parties, and an amazing game to play and compete, and just appreciate.

Samurai Gunn 2 improves on its predecessor in every way, while also adding new core gameplay mechanics, a new visual style (while remaining wonderfully old-school), character lore, and online multiplayer with private parties and matchmaking; it is a must-buy. The original design was to be fun at parties, and it has definitely retained that DNA.

And if you have never played the original? Even better. This is a real fighting game; it requires fast reaction time, precision, planning, strategy, and knowledge of the characters' abilities. If you enjoy fighting games in general, you'll enjoy this.

High-level play is intense, and weirdly graceful; like a dance. Scoring a kill pauses the action for a moment, giving you enough time to plan your next move.

Three- and four-player multiplayer is pure delightful chaos. Think "Smash Bros," but feel "Kill Bill." The most fun I've had with this game is with a full party. One-vs-one duels tend to be a bit more thoughtful, but not really any slower.
