i bought kathy rain, whisper of a machine. i haven't completed the directors cut yet, but i am enjoying this cut sooo much, and i remember the old version kinda ended up in abrupt cliffhanger. i dunno if they add new endings and "complete" the story but i do hope this will bring us sequel.

I'm glad you are enjoying the game, and thanks for the support! The Director's Cut has a much more satisfying and complete conclusion than the classic version and no direct cliffhangers, but some things will remain unexplained and could be explored further in a sequel :)

I can't say right now if or when such a sequel would happen, but the Director's Cut, recreated from the ground up in a modern, portable game engine certainly gives us a strong foundation for more games with Kathy!

Oh yeah... I have the original version and now I bought the directors cut just to support the game because I really like it. The DC is a pretty good version and all (I rather play with the old control scheme, actually, but the new one is easier, I guess, and the new scenes and puzzle changes are great!), but you know, definitively not a "weee, another Kathy Rain game!". More like a "ok, ok, this game is so good that I will buy it a second time just for some extra content if this helps you guys keep up the good work".

It would be very sad to have 2 Kathy Rains and no Kathy Rain 2 though =/

I bought the Director's Cut too, and I forgot how much fun Kathy Rain is. I think Kathy Rain deserve a Sequel. I take it on my Wishlist from the moment when you announce it. Ah, and thanks for the Loyality Discount for the DC.

10/10 would buy Kathy Rain 2, since the end pretty much teases a sequel. Would be amazing if you can get a Twin Peaks actor in a role, since the game reminds me so much of it!

I would love another Kathy game. The quality of the writing, pacing, puzzles, and characters is hard to match and a sequel would be judged hard against the original. However the team has shown they are very creative with Whispers of a Machine that I think y'all could do it.

Please consider an option to disable subtitles if you do have a second game. When you have good voice acting its much more immersive to disable the text, otherwise you end up just quickly reading the text and then skipping the audio.
