Using Spears?

I may be missing something, but is there a way of throwing spears with more velocity? If I stand only 3 meters from a wolf and aim at its head, the spear drops before it reaches the target.

Longer you hold the stronger the throw, but it has a maximum throw strength.

Beyond that there is no way. It's something we can actively tune though so if it feels off its good feedback for us to tweak for future builds and early access :)

maybe an idea that when your powering up a spear throw and it's about to reach max throw strength, the bar turns red? maybe? or use a separate bar for the spear throw and have it go up instead of down. like the kick meter in Madden football (lol)

I would just make it throw at the maximum when you click the button. Why would you ever want to throw a spear with lower velocity?
