Is this a BL game?
The artist (Kokoroten) mostly does BL, but I'm not sure about this game, can't find any solid info.

From playing all the routes in the demo I don't believe it is

The artist stated a while back that part of the reason they were making this game was to learn the difference between writing a non-BL story about males, and writing a BL story. I don't believe this game is BL, though it'll probably have stuff you can ship if you don't mind that sort of thing.

They ARE making a BL game after they finish the sequel to Mamiya, though. (I'm not sure if Mamiya DfD is included in this? Probably not, but the branding for various parts of the Mamiya series has been confusing to me.)

It isn't, but it does have that vibe sometimes and you can read it like that, if you want. Some characters (well, two) easily fit into certain yaoi tropes and that's also evident in the way they're paired in each other's routes.

It's not BL, however it does contain LGBT characters/themes :)

Same question, for anyone who completed the VN I'm really not interested in BL or any LGB themes.

same question as well. I have nothing against BL, but its just not my thing. If this is a big prank to get a lot of people to unwillingly read a BL novel I want out.

What prank? No need to be so paranoid (for someone who doesn't have anything against it)
It's not a BL game. Like I already wrote, people can read into/from subtext what they want, but there's no yaoi/BL content, nor any other romantic content.

As for LGBTQ themes, one character struggles with gender identity, has gender dysphoria (is the term, I think) and it's one of the better depiction of it in a Japanese VN that I've read. It was heartbreaking. It is also a part of the broader existential struggle that is shared with all other characters. Everyone has their own hell to carry
