ok this is getting tireing to have to deal with each an every time an this problem continues to ensure me hell an if it cant be fix then something needs to happen i keep getting errors of missing scenes or scenes repeating them selves an causing errors an they are only getting worse so to me at this point the game is completely an utterly unplayable for me bcz not just this i also cant play any of the new contentan this is the newest error i received

so with the game releasing in two days mean you devs are going to help me fix my busted up game you've refused to help fix for the last month an blew me off bcz if not im sure steam would love to hear how you blew me off an left me with a broken product with me asking for help in fixing it so i can play it

Yo bro they don't care they have abandoned the game and rushed to release.. unfortunately they will be saved because you bought it in early access and they owe you nothing.. so.. sorry but there isn't anything you can do other than leave a bad review and hope it helps others.

they wont their discord to use for help is patreon only doesn't matter reported the game as broken since ive been ignored for a month with no help steam doesn't like games nor devs that pull this crap he will fun dealing with steam now they will not be happy

Hi, we have looked into the bug, we apologize for the inconvenience, but in the current build it can’t be found. I check the pinned discussions most of the time. Are you currently playing on the latest version? Have you tried to redownload the game?

If you're on windows, I'd suggest doing a clean reinstall, which means, you'll have to enter

replace "Username" with your username.
Replace C with the letter you assigned to your corresponding drive if it doesn't work.
1. C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Roaming\Renpy and then delete the Shelter folder
completely.
2. Delete the game on steam and then go to your steamapps folder and delete
E:\SteamClient\steamapps\common\Shelter
3. Try to reinstall after and then it shouldn't have any issues. Doing so will remove all your saves, but you can always go inside the folder and do a backup of those, in case it's not related to them.

i deleted it from your second idea so i just try reinstalling at that point

i can tr but all my steam stuff is on my d drive its a terabyte hard drive would it be placed differently

The appdata folder is located where your user folder is, you can also use the run command and type in %appdata% and then enter roaming as well as the renpy folder. Afterwards you can try step 2 and 3
