Is there a place to find/buy bombs?

Quite a few times now, I've come across areas where I can't proceed because I've run out of bombs, but I still haven't found anywhere that I'd be guaranteed to get some.

there is merchants in ballast harbour and in oakhaven, the quickest way to get is to go to ballast harbour go west out of there over bridge go north and you will see to green npc's attack and kill them, they will drop bombs, they can be found every where, ballast harbour area is the quickest, unless your on fykonos island you have to buy from merchant until you get to light house

You said there's merchants, but I can't find them in either of these places. They sell healing items and arrows (so far) but no bombs.

Thanks for the tip about the enemies. It's still too rare really.

did you do the catacombs below Goatshead harbor, you get the quest for it in the tavern when you talk to 3 guys

Bombs appeared in all shops only after I rescued the bomb guy on Fykonos.

Yes, bombs are a rare resource until you complete the bombs guy sidequest.
(I'll have to check if either the sidequest in Fykonos OR the sidequest with Oakhaven's bomb shop triggers this, it might be either or it might only be the sidequest on Oakhaven)

There's some Cyclops dudes down between Forest of Tides and Ballast Harbor that will frequently drop a pack of 3 bombs if you decide to farm them for awhile. they also drop monster eyeballs which seem to be a really expensive bonus for anyone that wants to do that.

The sidequest with the saltpetre mine outside Oakhaven triggers him to make a large number of bombs. After that you can buy them in other stores. There's also a secret stash under a bridge on the small beach west of oakhaven.
