Banker-Claire(Armor)-Firefighter-Cleric-Rune scribe-Spellblade
I run Root Clipping, Undead soul to keep stamina high and prevent shifts
Between the holy shield, and healing shield runes, I can keep HP high and shift into swift/sword runes for damage. Inspire keeps the stat gains going, and debt/consecrate keeps the damage rolling, spell refraction provides a fair amount of bonus shielding and surprise burst with shatter. Early double bulwark keeps the damage spread for easy mitigation, and a fair bit of utility is baked around various members.
Not going to claim it is the best for such a roll but it has yet to let me down, but my personal preference is for such grindy teams.
Kenjiro - Claire
Big Dan - Asariel
Michael seems to be underutilized in this thread. Amazing power when transformed, can KO bosses in one hit.
Abraham hits hard and the auto crossbow is another one hit KO for most enemies.
Kenjiro with a swiftness totem gets to charge his sword spirit quickly, two of which are very powerful (i never get the chance to use the fire one)
Claire's transformation is generally Inscribed but I'll change it around sometimes for various reasons.
Big Dan just gets drunk and punches, hes not thrilling
Asariel resurrects everyone on his death and has holy shield. I carry lydia as a backup
