So there's one really important aspect of this game which isn't highlighted in the English store page right now:

You have no "basic attack". Each character has a powerful, long-lasting special attack (as seen in the trailer), but that comes on a long, 30-second timer. In order to survive, you need to learn when to deploy that attack so you can take out as many dangerous enemies as possible, and when you're going to need to run and jump for your life. It's more like a bomb in a shmup than anything I've seen in a platformer.

The simplicity and fast pace of the game scratches a very sort of "arcade" itch, and making multiple attempts on the tower to try and work out the safest route before the end of the day is satisfying. Do you like grabbing coins and avoiding damage for Big Points? Of course you do. Figuring out how to clear out a dangerous room and make it up to the next floor quick enough to hit the fast cycle on the moving platforms is one of life's great joys.

But if you're looking for the "character build" aspect of the roguelike format, you might be a bit disappointed. As of this writing, there's not a lot of variety in the Artifacts you pick up after bosses (and sometimes from the graves of other players). Virtually all of the artifacts will help keep you alive, and some are extremely valuable (getting the "3HP recovery after each floor" one early on is a massive boon), but none of them are very interesting, or have any major effect on what playstyle you're going to use for the run. They're, well, much more like the power-ups in an arcade game than anything else.

I'm interested to see how later additions will play with the flow of the game. And the graphics are very cute.

A very interesting take on the roguelike genre.
It's very hard, which I really, really like in my roguelikes.
The learning curve is pretty steep tho, so be prepared.

It's a neat little game and it's all really charming.
The difficulty escalates to some BS levels but that's basically what I'd signed up for.
I find the game relaxing and refreshing enough that I'll be coming back to it.

It's Early Access at the time of this review but I hope there's more characters and dialogue to fill this game in the future!

New dungeons every day. Nice to spend time in. Cute art, fun music. But gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah..... I hate this game. Still love it though.

Cute and fun, might be a little bit hard from time to time.

Very good daily run roguelite tower climber. The lack of a primary attack and reliance on a single slow-recharge bomb makes the entire thing feel a lot more like a danmaku game than a platformer. Characters are pretty diverse and have completely different styles of bomb attack which leads to needing to play them in completely different ways. Using the foxgirl you need to hold back and allow the missiles to home, while the maid boy (cute) needs to get very close and whack into enemies. Powerups being random and tied to player corpses makes each run feel just unique enough to make you change up your playstyle, but the powerups are weak enough that succeeding in a run still feels like a test of skill instead of luck.

A warning to people who care though, the game does require an online connection for full functionality, and is very much focused around competing for the leaderboard, so if you have a hard boycott against "live service" style games this might not be for you. I'm having a blast though, and would highly recommend it.

Really fun cute game but has a big learning curve from stage 1 to the first boss fight. A few bugs here and there as expected but non made the game more or less difficult. Overall really fun and so far I'm happy with my buying this game which I was scared of at first considering its early access

cute lil game, still on early access tho so didn't expect much out of it in terms of variation- turned out to be right in doing so. there were a selection of available characters to play as- tried all of them.I like the concept of there not being a basic attack and just one singular ultimate attack. makes u prone to dodge often and use your skill only if it's the utmost necessity to do so. characters in terms of skill and looks didn't feel as a copy of one another which is good; also the character art was too good, wished to see more of it! really digging the style. am really forward to see the full release, cool work^^
