The Ocean Deep - bug?

So it's unclear what is actually needed here to fulfill the navigational tool…
Quest has a check mark as if I have the required items/goods while on the the World Map, but when I descend to deliver/turn in the quest it is no longer checked.
Not sure exactly what to do with this quest.

Game is great save for how vague the quests are and that a lot of the requirements are never actually taught to the player is my biggest gripe.

I figured it out its just confusing seeing it had the check mark while on the World Map… not going to spoil it for people, but I will offer a hint: stick around the villages even after defeating the area boss as there are still quests to do sometimes those lead to new things.

cool but how do I get the soothing music for bloodpool? I hear thats how you gt the navigation tool but i don't know where the music is

Just keep playing you will find it... its not really hidden just hang around after the bosses do some clean up quests that you can, if nothing is left or they are the bounty quest (kill X amount of X monster/beast... still cannot seem to complete bounties) then go to the next area and complete it, you'll find what you need sooner or later.

Without spoilers, the soothing music is a given - unlike other items, I believe I got it while I was still active in that particular land. I might confuse it with the wool, however.
