This new Actraiser is fantastic, but I just wish the aesthetic had captured the original more instead of leaning so heavily into generic anime weeb

I agree with half of your list for sure but I have to ask you about Actraiser 2 being there. Actraiser 2 was just the fighting part of Actraiser 1 and none of the sim, and without the sim Actraiser wasn't very good. The sim is what made the game, helped make up for the bad arcade part. Why would you want it remade? What did you find good about it? (not trolling, I'd legit like to know)

Actraiser 2 had crap music, terrible controls, and was blatantly too difficult. Let me remind you of all the "maze levels." Not fun. That being said, one summer I beat it on the highest difficulty setting and it was not very rewarding.

E.V.O. would be absolutely fantastic!

Jesus, yes. E.V.O search for Eden, only with: added specific abilities depending on the parts, hidden part unlocks, and body type requirements to access certain areas, etc.

I wanted SPORE to be a remastered E.V.O, as E.V.O doesn't really have another game like it. Save for maybe Silicone valley on N64, which is sorta like it.
Mix silicone valley and E.V.O and you have peanut butter and Jelly.

Hidden gems need remasters.

Ya Actraiser 2 doesn't compare to either of them, that being said if they fixed it and added town building it might be worth a purchase.
