Why aren't you using Windows 10?
Despite the system requirements page on Steam saying you need Windows 8.1 and up, the game runs fine on my Windows 7 writing PC. Runs at 120 fps with all settings maxed out with no issues, and the system specs are pretty old by this point (the processor is an AMD FX-8350 and the video card is a GTX 1060 3GB).
So yeah: it runs fine on Windows 7. You're good to go.
No prob. ^^-b
Obligatory "They don't support win 7, so if you do have issues they won't likely help it. Buyer beware" warning.
For what it's worth, I've put a lot of time into Friends of Mineral Town on both my Windows 10 gaming PC and my Windows 7 writing PC. Haven't had any issues with it, and it doesn't support Windows 7 officially per the minimum specs page either.
With a game like this, you're probably fine.
But if I do end up having any issues playing Olive Town on my writing PC, I'll post back in this thread with a warning.
I'm really surprised you were able to even launch Fomt on Windows 7, it requires a system file that only 8 and up have. Also for a time it required your cpu to have avx 2 support but you just need avx now.
It's cause it's a Unity game, and unity games, for now, still generally work in win7.
