Some Recommendations for Classics Mode
Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of the game, and appreciate all the hard works the creators of the game have done. Based on my playing experience, I noticed that there are some issues in the game that could be improved. Below I have provided a list of my suggestions, divided into game mechanism change and small changes.

Mechanism Change:
Fixing some Vehicle Bugs:
-- Difficulties with Killing Exposed Vehicle Crews:
While exposed vehicle crews are somewhat protected, I find that sometimes, they are unreasonably difficult to kill. Pak, Autocannon, and Flak-88 can block multiple shotgun and SMG rounds from near point blank range and from the rear (and then proceeds to gib my experienced Scout at point blank range). Gunners in open-top vehicles (like half tracks, kubels) are also impossibly difficult to kill even well-placed grenades unless the entire vehicle is destroyed. In addition, Snipers and Machine Gunners (with AP ammunition) tends to ignore vehicle even when no other enemies are seen or when Target Single Enemy order from the officer is issued. It might help to make the exposed crews easier to kill, so that we do not have a situation where a single halftrack parked right up to your trench/bunker can kill your troops with impunity.
-- Make Killing Vehicle Crews Gain Experience:
Currently, when your troop kill a vehicle crew, it does not gain any experience. That this is a bug that needs to be fixed.
-- Bug with Burning Crews:
I noticed that burning German troops can still crew vehicles. This should probably be fixed. A burning man probably have more pressing things on his mind than how to fire a Pak.

Giving a Grace Period (15 Seconds) Against Counterattack for Passing the 6 Men Rule:
The tradition of bad things happening when you ignore the 6-man rule (without setting up Camnet) is absolutely a good mechanism in the game. However, I find that the German counterattack should have a grace period, so that the player should have a chance to react to unforeseen circumstances. For example, in one of my game, a German mortar strike (purple smoke) destroyed the Camnet over my Bunker. Before I can respond by rebuilding the Camnet (I had enough TPs prepared for this situation), the German launched a counterattack, ending my game right there. In another, a WP round forced my troops out of a bunker and Camnet. Before I can reposition my troops to other Camnets, the German counterattacked. While I get that the game is unfair, I think that a grace period is necessary, so that the player can be rewarded for preparing for these situations.

Small Changes:
Decrease Bomb Drop Cost to 2 TP (from 3 TP):
Both Bomb Drop and Precision Artillery Strike delivers one round of explosive onto the targeted area. However, Bomb Drop is significantly more inaccurate, while its explosive power is about the same as the artillery strike. To make it more useful, Bomb Drop cost should decrease to 2TP, making it a cheap one-time suppression alternative to Strafe Run (which also costs 2 TP).

Give Sitrep Random Chance of Paradropping Items:
The sitrep is intended as a chance based TP provider. However, I find that I never use this radio procedure. While it is fine that Sitrep will likely lose than gain more TPs, it is also strictly a worse option than the HQ tent most of the time. To improve its usefulness, Sitrep should randomly (maybe 10% chance) Paradropping a crate (grenade, binocular, etc.). Logically, this could be thought of as the higher command issuing a resupply run based on your sitrep.

Make Signaller Have (10+xp/10)% Chance of Requesting a Fire Support for Free:
With the introduction of HQ tent, the signaller does not have a lot of use. Specifically, all radio command can be done by the Average Joe in the HQ tent. An experienced signaller can request for artillery or air support faster. However, this advantage is not as significant if you build an Antenna. Furthermore, I do not find myself needing immediate "right this moment" fire support most of the time, making the faster request time not as important. To improve the signaller, it should have a random chance of requesting fire support for free.

Also a bug:
Commando starts with 120 HP, but can only be healed up to 100.

Thanks for taking the time to write those suggestions man. I really love that stuff. There is definitely place for some tweaks wrt vehicle damage model currently. I'll be working on a vehicle mechanics first pass in the next few patches.

Regarding the grace period for the 6 man rule. The game doesn't act right away if you are caught without a camnet but rather on a small % chances per waves. This % however is also affected by the amount of soldiers being exposed. So if you were stacking 20 guys under a cam net and it's gone, then the enemy is more likely to react than if you had 8.

Regarding the bomb drop, You might have a point. Although the bomb drop has twice the frag and destruction power than a precision strike and they are both similar in AT strength. I do however feel like it is underused currently.

Cheers
