Attempts to complete?

How many attempts is it taking you to clear a map in campaign? I am on my 11th.

hi it took me a 3rd attempt to get past the 1st campaign mission :)
but the 2nd one is a lot harder

Got passed the beach in two, on attempt #10 for the 2nd stage

second try on the beach, got urb'ed hard first time, attempt 3 for stage 2, really terrible terrain, multiple ditches and sandbags with no cover to approach. currently trying to get a couple good snipers to pick off the germans

working on attempt 4 for the second map, only took 1 attempt for the first map.
got a hell of an URB on the second map as the enemy has multiple 8,8 cannon emplacements i've got to deal with ._.

passed the first map of the campaign with exactly a single medic with a bren alive, all 5 other man dead, on my first try. But it was nerve wreaking when next to the finish line there was a house with 2 SS soldier with machinegun and 3 german inantry. Together they killed 3 member of my squad while we only killed one german infantry.

Was able to survive by been a lil coward and using wood and rock to hide and reach the line, then a friendly tank came near the house and started attacking them, saving me

oh does a level count as complete, if you cross the finish line (but there are still enemy units on the screen?) - i thought we have to eliminate all enemies before crossing the line

I got to the third level in Hedgerows and on attempt 9 I decided to reset my profile. After losing all of my experienced soldiers and trying to get enough kills to level up new recruits, the number of total soldiers on the map was insane. I was up against at least 10 German soldiers at once with more coming in every time they did one of their counterattacks. There was no way to move forward anymore at that point. Save your men and retreat if things are not going your way..

It's now my 12th try of "the beach". It would be great, if my attempts would help my character to level up a bit. The only ribbon I got so far is the "kill 100 enemies"-reward.

I dunno, I'm around 28 days in and haven't encountered a map that has taken me more than two tries.
