how do you beat the chef boss?

I've spent the better part of an hour trying to beat this guy and the fight is just so broken. first, the flame from the flamethrower can almost reach the entire length of the arena, second, you have those annoying bunny girls with the cleavers who can kill you in 2 hits constantly coming in, third, it seems that when I am able to actually attack the boss most of my attacks do no damage. I've only managed to get him into his second phase once (at which point I died immediately due to a cheap shot from a bunny girl).

You have to get close to him (but not too close), and then he will have a red flash around his body. Then he will spray fire from his flamethrower. At the top you don't see his HP, but how much fuel he has. Just circle around the table, as it somewhat blocks the flames, and try to defeat the enemies around it.
Then when he's out of fuel, he will throw away his weapon, and then you can attack him like a regular enemy.
