Really enjoyed the combat in this game, but there are a few things I could have lived without (cons below). Overall... not sure if I'd enjoy the entire game. I feel like it'll get pretty repetitive after so long. At the beginning of the game, when you're running along the rooftop doing parkour... that was neat. Wanted more of this and was sad it wasn't introduced again later. Maybe a scene where I'm running away from the helicopter along the train while getting fired at. It doesn't have to just be button mashing combat.

PROS:

1. Great combat. Animations are fluid and a lot of options: throwing, guns, weapons.

2. Music really sets the mood and adds a LOT to the levels.

3. I love that there is customization and the ability to buy and change outfits! I'd like to see more options, though. The more the better.

4. Skill tree is nice with a lot of additional combat options.

CONS:

1. I like and want story but sometimes the dialogue, during the level, is too much. It would be better to just talk at the beginning, maybe some in the middle and at the end. It really pulls you away from the action. Just let us tear through the level, kick down doors, and pummel the bad guys :-) I don't need my little robot chiming in every two seconds.

2. The mapping is a bit... off at times. You jump through a window to the north... then you're facing south. Go through a door to the west... come out a door to the east. Not a huge deal. Just being a bit picky at this point.

3. I'm not a fan of only getting to play the challenges if you beat the level. Be nice if we could try and complete these on our first run.


I did enjoy it, though. I THINK I completed the demo. I finished level 3 and no more unlocked. Not sure if that was the end, or if you're forced to replay levels, complete challenges and reach a certain % of completion before you move on to the next level. I hope that isn't the case. I'd like to just focus on the story and play through each level once. I'm not one to replay the same levels over and over just to complete challenges and find golden teeth.

Focus mode didn't work on interactive objects, and your control scheme is wonky. I don't get the bare-bones of your game.
