Magnum bullet sucks?

I have to wait like 5 seconds for it to charge in order to shoot? Am I missing something here?

I find it fine enough. I actually don't use it often. I like going pure melee and picking up enemy guns during rolls and quickly killing/executing them. The magnum (when upgraded) can be a powerful sniper like crowd controlling weapon. I specifically use it when I need to snipe a enemy with a sniper or grenade launcher, when I'm busy with other melee enemies and countering them

In-game dialog says the gun 3d-prints the bullets, hence the delay.

My main complaint with it so far is the command stays active even if I deactivate the skill point. I pull out an empty gun instead of using a finisher move.
