**Spoiler Rant** The final boss is utter Bullcrap

so no I've reached the final boss of the game and what do you know- he is complete and utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!! does unblockable attacks faster than responses to dodge, massive damage on every hit, and oh- how about a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ laser beam attack that he can shoot from even off-screen so you can't even respond in time for it, and it practically one-shots you!!

honestly, friggin' ruined the game experience so far. sure, it's a tough game, had me frustrated multiple times, but everything before was at least still POSSIBLE after you keep trying and trying. and yeah the other bosses were tough but this- this is just absurd.
and yeah, I know some people will respond to my ranting with spamming "git gud" or whatever, but i stand by my stance that this fight is is completely out of whack.

devs, on the off chance you are reading this: what the ♥♥♥♥ were you thinking?! frankly, this enemy has put a damper on what is all in all a fun game, but if there was a wish there to end by going over the top, than you went too far and made an infuriatingly unfair BS of a final boss.

There are a number of ridiculous or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fights in this game. Overall though, it's amazing. Also, pistol whip the final boss for highest possible damage. You can cheese him effortlessly once you know that.

Yeah, this game has some really unfun fights, but... Wow. I have no idea how the dev thought that a tracking attack with infinite range that instantly kills you if it hits and has maybe .2 seconds of telegraphing was even remotely in the realm of balance. Some of these abilities are straight up outer space levels of wack. The final boss fight is borderline unwinnable without cheese.

Still not as bad as the fight club bikers though.

So was I the only one that got hung up on that Copter near Agent Barnes Body? Took me over an hour to get past? 10 times worse then the Scorpion Queen or Biker Level put together. But yeah I tapped out at the Final Boss. I was like why do I even care at this point. I gave it 20 good tries and then went to bed.

Spoiler for beating the boss:
You can only *really* hit him with weapons.
When the boss fight begins, a group of security guard spawns with the boss. One will have a gun. If you beat them all to death, take the gun and use it as a melee weapon (punch with the gun, the bullets won't hurt the boss). It should last long enough to get him into his 2nd phase, where you rinse and repeat.

All I did was do loops around the table and hit him when the guns cooldown was done, cheap but it worked.

Looping him while shooting him with electrified bullets and picking up grunt weapons to hit him with appears to be the 'correct' way to win. It is just quite cheesy and unsatisfying.

Ok boys, here is a lifehack.
Step 1
You lvl up kick in da balls, and when he blocks, you hit (on PC) left click+E and hit him twice+E. Stagger him as much as posible. When his boys come out, deal with them and dont touch the boss.
Step 2
Continue this cycle.

I just knock him down with a power wave bullet and then stomp him on the ground repeatedly until he dies.

I finally beaten the boss not long ago. It took no little amount of cheese, as many of you noted here. Also worth mentioning, for anyone who didn't know this, that you can cancel his action by using the rope pull

Still, considering how frustrating it was to get it, and that I still think the devs gave him ridiculous powers (again, stupidly OP laser beam BS!), I still stand by my rant that this boss was just absurd, and frankly outright not fun. It's a shame that it puts such a damper on what is generally a entertaining game.

p.s: there were mentions of other annoying levels/elements that ruined the fun of the game, like the bikers at the fight club level, and I totally agree with them, and would like to add to the list- the bike chase level. seriously, one tiny dink with a car and instent death, please try again?! a head on collision I understand, but you just one milimeter too far and barely graze a car and BOOM. so annoying.

It do feel like the minions are only there to let the boss have an easy shot at instakill you with the laser attack.

I could do without all the one hit wonders, AKA Bosses. They move too fast, hit too hard and frankly are not fun to play.

This
patient and rolling and boring (and trying to melt his hp asap) but yeh, found no other efficient way to defeat him
motorway level 23 was worst for me and service elevator also unfun but at least not as bs as mission 23
