Multiplayer doesn't work

Hi, my hubby and i bought the game recently and wanted to play together of course.
But it doesn't matter who of us is hosting the other one can not join it is stuck at: hosting world is downloading...

And doesn't let us join the other ones world no matter how long we wait.

Is there a solution? Are we doing something wrong maybe (yes, we know about the host code) or is there another problem with it maybe?

Hmm that's weird - world files are only a few MB, you'd have to have a really flakey connection for the file to not be downloading quickly

Is this a new world that you're hosting, and are you both on the same version?

Yes we bought and downloaded the same version of the game. But couldn't get it to work. I have seen in another thread that it might be an issue of being in the same network? could it be that?

Oh and yes it was a brandnew world.

Weird - I personally test on same network so not really sure if that would be stopping you here, might have to try and grab one of you sometime (discord maybe?) and try joining one of your worlds to see if I have trouble downloading (something wrong with world file), or whether its a network issue on your end

Discord would be fine. And i have to admid that is really awesome and kind that you offered that to get to the bottom of the problem. We will test it again tommorrow maybe it really was just a little hick up in our connection, just to be sure to not cry wolfs when it maybe was simpler than we thought.

I get back to you tommorrow immediatly after we tried again.

No problem! I think thats the easiest way here (plus the game usually behaves when i watch it lol) - if you join the main discord (https://apico.buzz/discord) and ping me there saying it's you ill add you and we can work out timezone stuff so I can run some tests!
