Hi im stuck in the water plant room where you have to raise the water to reach the door way up the top of the wall but the water doesn't reach high enough and the broken ladder cant be used?

If "fix the valve" was that easy.... I can get the handle in the hole but then can NOT get it to turn. Neither could my husband who is much better at these games then me :( We both gave up

Found this to be a bit tricky first time too.

Looking at the terminal that lowers the vent...
-Go through the window, go down the ladder. Break a grate on the right and turn a red wheel. This will raise the water level. Go back to the terminal that lowers the vent.
-Press the terminal and then go back into the water room. Some times going down the ladder can be awkward or tricky. Try different angles/approaches. Try to be quick after using the terminal though as the terminal resets after a while and the vent closes.
-After you pass through the lowered vent into the room you'll see two passages on the left and right. I think the left passage is useless, feel free to check it out. Either way break the grates and go through the right passage.
-On the other side of the pipes in the right passage you will find a red handle. Take it back to the awkward ladder (you will need to press a button to open the vent and return to the starting area). You should notice a slot where the red wheel can be inserted. Place it there, turn it to once again raise the water level. If you're having trouble finding the area where you need to place the wheel, go to the starting room where you use the terminal. Look through the window beyond the terminal and you should see a red hole in the pipes right in front of you.
-Once again lower the vent with the terminal and return to the right hand passage where you found the valve in the water. The water level is now high enough to climb up through a shaft.

Probably took me about 10 minutes to figure this segment out, but you can do it in less than 2 if you know what you're doing.

I have the valve, but it won't go in the hole in the pipe so I can raise the water level.

I have exactly the same problem and cannot make the wheel fit the hole.

Found 5 files when local files checked. they got replaced but it still will not work and I cannot place the valve. Frustrating as I was enjoying the game. Oh well will try some more then delete and forget. Thank goodness it was free. Shame though as it was done well.

Did some testing and the valve does work for me at least, I'll try to look into this.

I got it to work. Let's just say you don't want to pass a valve operating wheel without giving it a spin. You'll see two before you find the "lost" wheel as described above. Good Luck

Yep Have had same problem tried all sorts like playing from beginning to installing reinstalling no luck, game breaker, did developer ever get a fix probably not oh well

I thought I had the same problem, but after some explore , i found the problem, you need to open all the valve to put the missing handle to the valve .
