It's nice that DDLC+ has more language options but I wonder who did those translations. The german translation is actually bad, not machine translated bad but very stiff. Seems to be a word-for-word translation which leads to sentences that no one in germany would ever say. Is it the same for other languages?

Russian translation is not bad. But bit worse than the fan translation of the original DDLC.

It's much worse than the fan translaton! The game is perceived completely differently, the poems are translated disgustingly, all the poems are written in the same handwriting without drops of blood and other "decor", and secret files were generally translated by Google translator separately from the text of the game itself! Here's how you can use the hint with the correct words for girls if the words are translated differently in the hint and in the game itself? Or how can you read the inscription "Nothing is real" in a secret poem, if our localizers, instead of translating this phrase, stupidly wrote transliteration of individual letters? Ordinary fans did everything at the highest level without any money investments, and they paid money to "real" localizers! And worst of all, apparently, no one is going to fix this nightmare completely. And even a mod for this version of the game with a normal translation cannot be made.
