Allow me to preface.

Doki Doki Literature Club! is a phenomenal game that is completely worth your time. It is a game that will leave a lasting impression on you long after its relatively short runtime finishes. I would wholeheartedly recommend the experience to anyone ever, if emphasizing a little too incessantly that it's best experienced blind.
However, this is DDLC Plus.
And given that you're reading a Steam review, that means you were more than likely planning to play this game on a computer. Therefore:

While trying my absolute hardest to not spoil the experience, I will say that DDLC+ is, for the most part, the same game as the original with extra content. However, many of its changes, while unavoidable for a multi-platform game, severely worsen the experience and rob the game of most of its impact, and the extra content, while nice, does not make up for it.

If this were a review for a different console's version of the game, I would (begrudgingly) be more forgiving of it. However, you have the opportunity to go play the original right now. So I implore you. Play the original first. It's literally free and it runs on all the same stuff Steam does. If you're determined to give money to the developers, you can buy this later or get the Fan Pack for the original. JUST PLAY THE ORIGINAL GAME FIRST.

Such a wholesome and relaxing story line about friends definitely recommend. :>
