So when can I actually play games?
An hour in, and all I'm doing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ laundry. I bought this expecting it to be like your own mini arcade where you just play a bunch of arcade games (You know, like Pac-man Museum). Do you really expect me to play them in the 20 second window I get between loads, or does there come a point where I can ignore this stupid crap and play the actual games?

I think an hour in, you can probably ignore the laundry and just focus on growing the arcade.
But the game is a business simulator, and the business is a laundry arcade. So, it's not just about playing arcade games. BUT, you do get to spend a lot of time playing games.

Depending on how you play it, you might play the games you're assigned to play each day- or you might ignore that and just play what you want... but your progress might be a little slower.

Manage profits, pick up gum, do the laundry and get coin to unlock arcade units and flip the family laundromat business to become an Arcade Paradise!

Literally the description of the game.....

The description for most games is fluff that tells you nothing and even when it does, games are a primarily visual medium, a description is not going to show you the extent of the content or how it works. Excuse me for not wasting my time paying attention to a minuscule text box filled with garbage (on the vast majority of products), when theres 2 videos front and center on the games store page selling it like an arcade game/mini game collection and not a laundry/chore simulator.

You can do laundry to get some quick money at the beginning. But you can also do no laundry whatsoever. It's up to you. Personally I ignore the laundry and go straight to the games to attain their goals and make them popular as quickly as possible. More popular = more money coming in. The arcade becomes more profitable than the laundry could ever be very quickly this way, and it's a lot more fun than doing laundry the first few days just to build a meager bankroll.

Yeah, I've been giving it a more honest go, and unlocking the golden washers really helped. Arcade games get the profit a good deal faster, I guess my real gripe is that in that first hour it really prods you to focus on the laundry or try and find a way to balance both, when it would probably be quicker (and more advisable) to hit the games immediately to knock out their goals and get the big bucks rolling in. Wouldn't mind the balancing act so much if I had more time between loads and wasn't constantly having the UI cluttered up with notifications, even when I'm playing a damn game.

My second playthrough I made it to the credits without doing a single load of laundry. So it is doable. lol. Slow start though.
