How do I buy upgrades?

Sounds like a really dumb question but I’m on steam deck and i can see two ‘accounts’ at the bottom of the PC screen. One is for eBuy and has about £65 in. The other is what I’ve been putting in the safe I assume. I can’t buy any Upgrades because there’s not enough money in my eBuy account and I can’t work out how to move it. Tapping or controller navigation doesn’t seem to do anything.

What am I missing?

What do you mean by "move it"? Do you mean you're stuck on your computer and can't escape, or you are trying to move how much you earn money, as in "increasing your British sterling?

Things-to-do. By completing these in your PDA, you earn British Sterling which gets deposited in your eBank. You don't put anything in your save other than USD. But from your PC there should be a parody of eBay for you to buy stuff from. From there you can buy any upgrades you want, but only if you have the funds to get them. Simply try to do the "quests". They're easy to do but I hear some of the quests are bugged, like the dart board (from what I hear).

Have you tried Q (hold down for a few seconds), or try tabbing. But for sure Q should let you exit, it just takes a few seconds to complete logging out.

Oh! I totally missed this part of the tutorial. On steam deck so maybe it was cropped off the screen. That’s really annoying that I can’t just use the profits from the business. Thanks though!

I'm using a PC, and I *still* couldn't figure out how to earn sterling in order to buy upgrades. I can't tell you how much I've clicked around on the eBuy screen wondering if I was missing an obvious button or something.

I know the dad just chatted with me and mentioned something about sterling - I had no idea it was a separate currency at the time, so I blew right past his message. And I don't see anyway to go back and reread it, so it's kind of unfortunate that the way to earn sterling isn't more clear, since I had to go outside the game to research what I missed.

I think the answering machine lets you hear any messages again, in case you skipped past any...
