Computer - Dummies Book Purchase

I purchased the book and it showed new icons on the computer. However, the next day the icons are gone from the desktop and one of the 'To-Do' items is to play Solitaire, but no icon on the desktop on the office PC to do so. Tried reloading the same, but same problem - icons are missing.

Legit concern. For some reason the 3rd icon you get (to build and expand your Laundromat) disappears after the first expansion.

I think icons should just stay put and not get dependent on quests and then disappear upon completion of said quest, awaiting for the next pre-criteria or whatever. If it's not bugged, that is.

The expansion is a one time use, you get another when you buy all the machines again. (after the chat)

As for missing icons, the folder labeled games, is that what is vanishing? Are all the others still there that the book unlocks? Also, is the book still sold out on not-ebay and sitting on top of the pc screen?

The book is sold out on Not-Ebay, . Yes, the games folder is what vanished the next day and i haven't seen it since (now 5-6 days past when it disappeared). The folders currently on the PC are Chat, Discjammers, ArcadeMania, Upgrades

Mine just did this. Open PDA and try clicking the "Idiots Guide to Personal Computing". I did this and it seems to toggle the folders(or maybe I got lucky). Guess there's supposed to be a check mark and this is bugged. Same thing happens with the car.. -_-

my games folder is also gone. cant play solitaire for the to do. : (

Hey, are you able to send me a DXDIAG so we can get to the bottom of why this book is deleting your desktops?
