Thanks
Good:
- The Jukebox seems to be fixed. It actually tracks progress between sessions now.
- The Rhythm is a Dancer and Video Killed the Radio Star achievements activated properly.
- Line Terror is much more fun to play now that the player movement has been sped up.
Bad:
- Now Video Air Hockey is super slow. Miserable to play now. Lemonade from lemons at least the problem with the striker going crazy after you use a power shot. Turning on V-sync solved that.
- I tried the mouse and keyboard controls for the first time. Wasn't pleased with the result. The default sensitivity is way too low, and the mouse look felt like it would stutter at times. This game was definitely made with game pads in mind, lol. Whack-a-Gopher was fun to try on the keyboard though. Also fixed by turning on V-Sync.
- Going into the Settings and selecting Redefine Controls has put me into a soft lock twice. I had to Alt+F4 to end the game. Apparently the Redefine Controls screen doesn't it when you back out of it with the gamepad, pressing the B (Xbox controller) button.
I pray for some DLC, and even maybe some actual arcade games, I guess licence costs would be an issue, but imagine having the proper games in your arcade :-) I can but dream...
I only ever had the one bug with the crushed can I couldn't pick up pre patch days, but apart from that its been great!
Thanks again for taking me back to the 80's :-)

Need DLC Please.
...
Except darts.
The 'slide mouse backward and then forward to throw' mechanic was not explained at all, considering the PocketPauser 'How To Play' says to use wasd to pull back and release. It took about 5-10 mins of trying random keys before I figured it out, as previously mentioned the entire game thus far is based on wasd+e+q, so it didn't come to mind. Then, to top the whole game off, when I did eventually (accidentally) figure it out, it turns out that aiming is arbitrary.
What's the point of the aiming reticle if on the first 3 slide backwards/forwards mouse movements the character refuses to launch the dart, only for a slight bump or re-adjustment of the mouse to somehow launch it instead, and then it lands a full one or two radials/scores to the side?
I would love to get the 6 dart game goal, but given that aiming seems to be completely randomized based on the character's 'throw', it seems highly unlikely that such a goal is possible.
Can this be made into a key-based game like the others, please? As it stands it's the only thing that is, in my opinion, a terrible experience in an otherwise beautiful game.
It is this game and pool that are both a terrible experience. Fact is pool is even worse, but darts is not good either. I admitted these are more difficult to fix but even something simpler would be better then what we currently have.
1) There are either only 22 courses or only 22 courses get counted in woodguy golf, but the requirement is 30, making this goal impossible (?)
2) Whenever you replay strike gold, the goal to get to 500m resets (dev already acknowledges this one)
3) When doing the to-do tasks for "play these 3 games", I've had some games where the counter doesn't go up, making the to-do task impossible
4) The goal to get past the first level of line terror doesn't complete when you beat the first level.
5) Not sure if the "use 15 hacks" to-do task for blockchain works. I tried using the one you start with multiple times and the counter didn't go up, but perhaps it only wants hacks you earn.
6) The mechanic for jumping onto a log in toad and turtles isn't well implemented. Very often it looks like you should jump onto a log and you just fall through it into the water. I've even see this when aiming for the middle spot of a 3-spot-wide log. I'm not sure the exact trigger for this one but I think it's most common when jumping from a lilly. One thought I had is that you're dying from the lily sinking even though you already jumped.
Doesn't matter much but:
I once played a game of hustler where this was no blackball. After the AI finished his own balls, he worked on mine, and then after that he just kept hitting the ball at nothing.
Space Race Simulator had timed me out and after the timeout it just kept counting down into negative time. Leaving the cabinet and going back to it starts the race, but the racer doesn't move.
Other noticeable thing is audio related: the breakdown mini-game seems to be cutting off the "game complete" announcer voices. It wasn't doing this when I started playing the game and can't recall when it first appeared. Also, sometimes when starting a new day the arcade is eerily quiet for a minute or two or maybe I interact with the jukebox.
One last thing - I finally hit the end of the game. Purchased the last upgrade around closing time. After all the endgame stuff it puts you at your arcade in what seems to be the start of a new day which I understand from a story point of view. But my clock, eyelids and lack of customers are telling me it's 1 am. Pretty bright for one in the morning.
