Stuck on loading on Epic
So it's free on epic and I thought I would give it a shot, but I can't get past the loading screen. I moved it over to my ssd thinking maybe it was just taking forever but it's been an hour and still not loaded. I also see a bunch of DLC so is this game just a bare minimum game made to sell DLC? I don't know because I can't play it and i'm just curious.

This worked for me as well.

Is there something else I can try if that doesn't work?
If you got it from Epic, I successfully launched it through Heroic[heroicgameslauncher.com] wich installed some Epic dependency that steam haven't picked up.

Turning off vsync fixed it for me, but the game isn't that awesome since most of what you do is cleaning and laundry.
Micromanagement is important tool of storytelling. It is there to deliver that feeling what are the real perspectives after school in a small town in 90's. Several days, and you submit to the background music filling your days, and just happy to have a job not that hard as it could be. As Ashley progress, daily activities change, and micromanagement forces you living through the changes in her life.

I also was expecting a game about old fashioned games, but found a game about life. My memory denied that part of life where life was trash, and in my young years I was just happy to be employed into technical support. I wanted to forget this, but game reminded, striking deeply. That was life in its entirety, there was no way around.

The DLC arcades won't come for free inside game, they have to be bought for inner money, just like non-DLC arcades. In early game that delays progress, and return of investments is not strategically big. Also, in early game you have no much time to play arcades. That is going to be nothing but extra micromanagement.

You can postpone DLC decision to late game if you're in doubt. To be precise, to the moment of buying commercials on the radio.

Same here. Had to set it to that version in the Heroic Launcher and it played the intro movie without issues. Thanks Curried-Cat!

Have you tried arcade cabinets at the back of your laundrette? ^^

What helps for me is just to just spam space when it launches, so u skip the intro and get to the menu and can then continue your game :)
