Game stuck on initial loading screen
Anybody else finding this game impossible to play?

I try to start a new game and it is stuck on 'Loading...' forever.

It's absolutely not my system specs (installed on an NVME SSD, Intel i5-13600K, RTX4090).

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've verified the integrity of the game files multiple times, and I've also redownloaded C++ runtime executable.

Is this a known bug / is there a fix?

Dev here, we've seen some reports of this on console but not on steam. Can you fill out a report at https://wiredproductions.com/patch-notes/reports/ ?

It may be helpful to send your save data if possible.

Turn off Vsync in your NVidia control panel. Worked for me.

What resolution are you running the game on? What is your GPU? If you re-enable Vsync does the issue come back?

I'm running it at 3840x2160. I tried fullscreen, fullscreen window and windowed and none of them made a difference prior to disabling Vsync. I'm running a ROG Strix 4090 RTX NVidia GPU. I was getting screen tearing with Vsync hard disabled in the NVidia Control panel so I tried turning it back to "on" instead of "fast" (global setting I use) and it worked just fine. I haven't tried going back to the "fast" setting so I don't know if that's the issue or if it was related to starting the game (first time loading problem) or something like that.

I am experiencing freeze on load also - adjusting NVidia settings didn't help, but removing the contents of my AppData for Nosebleed allowed it to start up properly - so it would seem there's some incompatibility with some of the prior save content it attempts to load on launch.

Submitted a ticket and sent a DropBox link to save file

Thank you, I'm trying to find your ticket. Do you have the email you used to report the ticket? Feel free to add me and DM me the email if you'd prefer.

My bad, I was out of town for a while. Here's the save information:

Lurkers feel free to check out that sick save data, but long story short I've done some further testing - and adjusting hardware profile doesn't help, but moving my config data out the appdata folder did. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to do so while maintaining progress, so a fresh save is required - not a hefty cost, but may put some folks off - but it will allow you to get past the load screen.

One thing that may be of interest is I changed GFX cards between the last save and this current one, so may be related in addition to the patch adjustments?

This is still an issue. I can confirm that having VSync set to "Fast" in the NVIDIA control panel also causes the game to become stuck for me.
Using a GeForce 4070 with drivers 560.70
Using the Epic Games Store version.

This was on my first time playing the game (having first adjusted some options).
