DLCs are just extra cabinets, the game has plenty of cabinets in it already, just depends if any of those cabinets look like something you'd wanna play.

They're not important, just depends on the games you wanna play. No achievements are dependent on them, though I'll say that a few could potentially help make the 15 arcade machine goals completed achievement EASIER, but that depends on how good you are with the base cabinets.

Not particularly, a bunch of arcades that come with the main game have very easy goals. I'm up to 48 goals completed already. Some cabinets, like Stacking Boxes, will seem really hard at first, but once you get the hang of them they're actually quite easy.

In the game the dlc cabinets are seperate and there's a message that says none of the dlc counts toward any progress/completion of the main game.

DLC unlocks the ability to avoid the audio loop bug.. so might be worth it for that alone
