No progress with my game

Hello, I seem to have an issue with the game. I don't know if my progression is stuck or if the game is supposed to be like this. It's been almost a week in-game with no progress to the story. I cannot buy new arcade machines and I do not receive any messages from the online chat. Anyone know how to fix this or am I supposed to play for longer than a week to receive the ability of buying new machines and unlocking new rooms?

I thought I was stuck until I read that there is an issue in the game that if you try to use the mouse wheel to scroll through the web pages, it may miss some of the new machines.

Use the keyboard buttons WASD, to navigate should show you the machines you maybe missing. When you have the option to expand your space, you should get new machines to fill it out soon after, and again on the next expansion.

I too was stuck like this thinking I had to do the daily tasks for a while before anything happened (like buy a pound sterling item or whatever) I bought the glasses as they were the cheapest to find nope. But the above worked for me and I am now chugging along nicely.

if this isn't the case for you, then I hope a dev can help you as it maybe a glitch? Game doesn't seem to be well optimised with a mouse in mind.

Yeah, WASD is the best way to find those lil pesky machines, they're good hiders! But we have fed this back to the team anyway so fingers crossed we'll hear some news on the mouse scrolling too fast soon.

Its all good, a minor issue, but luckily a perfectly good work around, this game does seem to be aimed more at controllers though to be fair so I can see why.

Thank you!!! I was wondering why I hadn't unlocked more machines, haha! WSAD or the dpad on a controller scrolled the list properly, mouse wheel just scrolled top and bottom missing out all the middle parts.

I did uninstall this game long ago. I was in a similar situation as the OP. No progression. I got very bored. I could do more useful things with my time, such as watch paint dry.

This is still an issue. I played for 2 weeks with nothing new to buy, but relogging into the game made like 6 new machines show up.
