Whats your favorite and least favorite arcade cabinets?

I'm curious what everyones picks are! Dont need to give any reasoning if you dont want to, just share the ones you love to play and the ones you tend to avoid.

Favorites: Stack Overflow, Knuckles & Knees, and especially Vostok 2093.

Least favorites: Table Football, Air Hockey and Strike Gold.

I disagree about Strike Gold, I think it's a brilliant piece of stupid. 2nd Place to Stack Overflow (which is a brilliant piece of smart). I hate Air Hockey and Football. I want to offer customers 25 cents/swing with a hammer to smash them into tiny bits.

I think the biggest thing about Strike Gold for me is the goals. Which I know have no effect on the game, but I feel some of them are just way too much, forcing me to play it more and more and more.

Also the great thing about Table Football and Air Hockey is that every single goal can be completed with a friend. So theyre easy to finish and forget. Now if only that worked on Shuttlecocks...

Space Race Simulator and Woodguy/Woodgal Jr are great for that!

I want to like the table games, I really do. And I do like the execution, it's just that they're all far too hard to play. I can't figure out how to be successful at any of those games, especially Pool, where the aiming guides don't seem to mean anything (the cue ball never follows them), and Air Hockey, where the AI is simply too good and hits virtually everything back to me - getting a goal on it feels nearly impossible.

I really hate the sports bar items in the arcade. Never seen these in any pure arcade I ever went to. Kind of wish those weren't in the game.

Space Racer could use some handling adjustment. The thing just veers off the road like its on ice.

A lot of the goals for these need to be toned down. There are games I really just don't want to play that much. At least I dont have to worry about laundry anymore now that the entire place is an arcade.

Kind of hoping they allow modding, or release more machines so I can fill up the 11 remaining spots. Kind of would like more ticket type machines too.

Totally agreed about the table games! The controls are just didnt translate the best. I'm assuming thats why everyone rates them so low. If you need help getting points for the Air Hockey goals, feel free to hit me up. They can be done in multiplayer.

I think Line Terror is great! I love how they made it feel all horrorish. My only problem with it is the movement sound effects are a bit too loud.

Vostok 2093 (Simple and too easy but I like vertical shooters and it is painless fun)
Blockchain (Even if I don't fully understand the rules I enjoy it)
Stack Overflow (I could probably play this for hours, but the machinery noise the arm makes is a bit annoying)
Strike Gold (Simple fun)
Racer Chaser (Genius twist on Pac Man)

Dislike:
All the table games and darts (When I have time played task for one of these I start the game and walk away from the computer)
Woodguy Golf (Takes far too long. I dread having to do those challenges when I finish the rest)
Bugai (Just don't find it fun)
Line Terror (I love Qix but this version is just too slow and clunky)

hate!!!! Darts hate it so much always down to one point in the first few throws then another 20 minutes just to get the double or w/e you gotta hit to win the game

Line Terror is absolute garbage. It's a copy like a lot of the other games, but the change they made was that the bouncing object is completely random. It defeats the purpose of any game if there's no way to know a safe move from a risky one because the thing that kills you moves in a random pattern.

-line terror, its a shame as it's another genre of game I really like but this falls way short
-pool, I'm a snooker guy and played a fair few snooker/pool titles over the years and this doesn't play well at all. Times I knew the ball should have been potted, it isn't.
-frogger, because its broken. I keep falling through turtles
-blockchain, I have no idea what its about all I know is that spamming the A button seems to work
-woodguy golf, because its golf
-football table, because it's football

Everything else is fine but nothing that pushes it one way or the other for now.

Stack Overflow is the game of patricians. Vostok is acceptable and I like the meta-progression of it.

I want to like pool but too often do the matches devolve into myself and the AI both continually missing every shot on the last couple balls. Football table, just no.

I'm really glad to see so many people like Stack Overflow so much. I think just about everyone had listed it as one of their favs.

Blockchain is pretty fun once you get the hang of it, MonkeyBone. Basically, the blocks vanish when horizontally or vertically the blocks match the number.
So if you have [2][4][5][7] and you drop a [4] next to it, the 5 will vanish because its 5 long.

Thanks for the explanation and yeah I figured that's what it was but when I try to play methodically its just not that fun for me, while spamming the A button works just as well lol

AIR HOCKEY ( Men this game is terrible to play, its unwinable, my record is 10-1 )
Bomb dudes ( In party mode with 4 bots, they all commit suicide before I have placed like 10 bombs)
Dance thing ( I just dont like those games)
Gravitron ( its a bit pointless to me, but at least it work great )
Football table ( Its unwinable too )
Toad and turtles ( I too keep falling through logs and turtles all the time )
Line terror ( I didnt like the original game but this version is terrible )

Thats all 35 games so far
