Stuck on loading screen when starting new game

I haven't been able to get into the game once. Every single time I click new game, it stays on a loading screen forever.

I've verified game files, reset settings, restarted steam, restarted my PC, uninstalled the game and re-downloaded it, and disabled the steam overlay. Nothing I try changes anything. Load screen forever. All I can ever get to is the main menu. It's installed on an SSD.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the same issue on the Game Pass version. I guess I won't be able to play!

Same issue here, just got the game with my Humble Monthly. Just sits at loading screen after trying to start a New Game. Sux :(

Had the same problem initially. Also got this from the Humble Monthly. Did some digging and it turns out that it's an NVidia Vsync issue. Turn it off in NVidia control panel and you should be able to start playing (hopefully). Good luck.

This happened to me after changing my monitor setup. The game would be stuck on the title screen before the menu should appear, music playing but not responding to any input. I opened the save file found in Users/<username>/AppData/LocalLow/Nosebleed Interactive/Arcade Paradise/<save_id>/RATSaveData.dat and changed some values with a hex editor. When booting, the game noticed broken settings file and reset the settings, letting me into the game. Save was intact, but make a backup before fiddling!
