Sprint not working.
I bought the shoes but I can't sprint. I noticed when I started the game if I moved to the sides while going forward there was a speed boost.

Sounds like maybe you don't have the latest patch from a day or two ago? I have the gog version but the exact issue you mention was fixed with the patch.

its up to date. I got the game just the other day.

Are you using WSAD to move? Press shift to sprint. In the options, you can set it to "hold to sprint" or "toggle". I set mine to toggle, press shift once, and sprint everywhere, even after crouching. And, sideways movement is even faster now. :-)

yes, I use WSAD. like I said. there is no difference in my speed except when moving diagonally. since I just "beat" the storyline, I will reinstall the game and see if that fixes it.

I have the same issue

Moving diagonally seems to be the only way to move fast until you purchase an upgrade. Moving diagonally still is faster.

Hey, did you go into upgrades on your PDA and check the box where the sprint is?
Kit Cloudwalker Aug 23, 2022 @ 7:28am
There isn't a box next to it. Same with Radio Advertisement. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/915215580850692149/1011643004240539658/Upgrades.png

Okay that is strange, can you give me your DXDIAG and I will feed this back to the developer for you.
Kit Cloudwalker Aug 23, 2022 @ 8:27am
my DXDIAG?
Wired Jake Aug 23, 2022 @ 8:49am
Yeah from the Windows desktop, press the Windows and R keys to open the Run window. In the Open: field of the Run window, type dxdiag. Click OK or the Enter key to open the DirectX* Diagnostic Tool. Then save all information and upload that here.

^^; how do I upload it here?
Wired Jake Aug 23, 2022 @ 9:18am
If you copy it into https://pastebin.com/ and then go to the bottom, create new paste then copy the URL and paste that in here :)
